Ancelotti, Chelsea, it's over

Carlo Ancelotti is no longer the Chelsea coach, said the London club in a statement. The technician, who arrived in July 2009, spent two seasons with the Blues before being thanked Sunday after the last day of the Premier League.

The chips are down when you least expected. But the direction of Chelsea wasted no time. Just hours after the end of the championship and a final defeat to Everton (1-0), Carlo Ancelotti was thanked by the London club, which he took the reins in 2009. From AC Milan, the midfielder was a first successful season with a gun doubled in the key. The financial year 2010/2011 was much less successful because the Blues have not won anything. "The performances this season have been insufficient and the club thinks it is time to change, before preparing the next year, " has justified the club in a statement.

In 2010/2011, Chelsea finished second in the Premier League and left the Champions League quarter-finals. The Blues, who started on the wheel caps, collapsed during the winter. Despite a late championship barrel, Ancelotti did not save the appearances. The Italian also pays its management unconvincing the Chelsea dressing room. After the arrival of Fernando Torres last winter, the Italian has repeatedly equivocated, trusting the Spaniard when he trampled. Ancelotti has angered some executives, such as Didier Drogba. Chelsea was already looking for a new coach. Andre Villas-Boas (Porto), Guus Hiddink (Turkey), Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard are tracks should not be overlooked.
