Five on trial

If Manchester United were crowned champions of England last weekend, the suspense will still go to Sunday on the occasion of the 38th and last day of the Premier League. In addition to fighting for third place between Manchester City and Arsenal, they are still five clubs, Blackburn, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Blackpool and Wigan to fight for their maintenance. Suspense guaranteed.
It's this Sunday the Premier League season 2010-2011 will deliver its verdict. If Manchester United is provided from one week to drop his nineteenth title of English champions Chelsea in front, the challenges are not lacking in this 38th and final day. Assured of playing at least the preliminary round of the Champions League, Manchester City and Arsenal are fighting but still in third place, synonymous with direct qualification for the most prestigious of European competitions. In this context, the Citizens, who won the FA Cup, took an option in the previous exercise by winning heavily against Stoke City. Another success this Sunday at Bolton, tenth in the standings, would assure them of finishing on the podium.
Dying after two consecutive defeats against Stoke (1-3) and Aston Villa (1-2), while they had a surprise early May by defeating Manchester United (1-0), but the Gunners are hoping to revive Sunday in the derby against Fulham (8th), third place to hang. But they have to rely on a slip of Man City to finish in the wake of MU and Chelsea.
Death match between Wolverhampton and Blackburn
The suspense will mostly go to the end of the rankings where five teams are still struggling not to sink. If West Ham is already condemned, Blackburn, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Blackpool, Wigan stand at a point and the five teams, two are therefore likely to evolve in the lower level next season. Nineteenth with the worst goal difference (-22), seems to Wigan worse off. But the Latics move on the lawn of the ninth Stoke City, who has little left to play. The situation is similar for Blackpool, except that the eighteenth will move on the lawn of champion Manchester United, which, as Sir Alex Ferguson has assured, will bring the best team possible. Just above the red zone, but with the same number of points as Wigan and Blackpool and a goal difference only marginally better in Birmingham will also perform a tricky trip to Tottenham on the lawn, cinquièmpe with an edge over Liverpool who will move to Aston Villa.
With a point ahead of three clubs in Wolverhampton and Blackburn still have their destiny in their hands if they win. Except that Rovers and Wolves meet on Sunday. This will be the game not to lose for both teams. Winners 3-0 to go on their lawn to Ewood Park, Gaël Givet teammates hope to achieve such performance at Molineux Stadium. "Relegation is not impossible, said one of the pillars of effective Rovers, Brett Emerton in the columns of the Sun. Experience has proved that no club is too big not to fall . We all know what is at stake is our future in our hands. I prefer to stay positive. We're going to save our place and we will play in the Premier League next season. " Remains now to turn words into deeds.
