The Kazakh Alexandre Vinokourov (Astana) on Sunday confirmed its decision to hang up the bike at the age of 37 years after its abandonment of the Tour de France, July 10, following a fall in the descent of the Pas de Peyrol.

Alexandre Vinokourov is recovering from a complex of the head of the right femur.
